Pair of Art Deco Oregon leadlight Awning Fanlight Windows stained glass
These windows date from the 1920s and were removed from the living room of a period residence in Drummoyne.
Period clear and coloured stained and variegated glass.
The timber is in excellent overall condition, all joints are strong with no movement.
Each window is 640mm wide x 425mm high x 35mm thick.
All period glass is fully intact, I cannot find a single crack in any individual pane.
The leadlight beading is in superb condition, fully intact without any bowing or cracked joints anywhere.
The main panes are clear.
There are also some beautiful variegated central glass panes in light blue with other panes in amber and ruby red.
All the period glass was manufactured in England by Chance Brothers and became available together from the 1900s.
Patterns include Arctic, Rimpled and reeded.
These windows could also be used as a set of split fanlights above french doors.
Pictures form part of the description. Inspection prior to bidding recommended.
Cash or EFT only on pickup from Pymble. Doors are also listed elsewhere.
