ORIGINAL 1940's or 50's ERA VINTAGE BROWN & BLUE HOUNDSTOOTH WOVEN HARRIS TWEED PURE WOOL BLAZER JACKET

For sale here is a vintage 1940's or 50's era brown and blue houndstooth patterned pure Harris Tweed woolen Rex Trueform blazer jacket. Pure wool Tweed woven fabric in pattern of blue and brown houndstooth. Very nicely tailored although it appears the original buttons have been replaced with more modern plastic ones. Big outside pockets at the waist and single outside chest pocket. Two pockets inside. Lined in a silky brown poly fabric. No vent at the back. 'Rex Trueform' label - possibly made in South Africa. No size tag but would suit a 40" chest approximately (but please also check the actual measurements). Please note that the shirt and tie shown in these pictures are NOT included with the jacket.  CONDITION: In very good pre-worn vintage condition. Showing just light regular wear. Inside lining all intact. Appears to have had the original buttons replaced with matching plastic ones. No stains, holes or tears. MEASUREMENTS: Tagged Size - none Measures (laid flat and unstretched): 20.5"/52cm's across armpit to armpit 19"/48.5cm's across the waist at the narrowest point 33"/83.5cm's length from back of the collar to bottom hem 17.5"/44.5cm's across the shoulders 26.5"/67.5cm's outside sleeve from end of cuff to shoulder point
