Seller: coffeebeansdelivered (2) 100%, Location: Ferny Hills, Queensland, Ships to: AU, Item: 162211188754 NEW Fresh Roasted Coffee 1kg Kenyan Single Origin Kenyan Single origin coffee is a specialty coffee. We often refer to this bean as a “Blend” because the flavours are so stable in all types of coffees. Whether you like this bean in a plunger, a Chemex, or Latte, this coffee is amazing in all. It’s no coincidence that Kenya is next door to Ethiopia, these are stunning coffees beans. These cherry trees are grown at the eastern base of the Aberdare Mountain ranges at altitudes of 1,847. These Mountain ranges form Great Rift Valley, and cover the area around the town of Kiagathu in the Nyeri region, where the Othaya Farmers’ Cooperative Society have their 132.6 acre microlot. The cherries are carefully harvested only when fully ripened, giving them their AA top rating, meaning larger than normal size. The Kenya Kiaguthu beans deliver beautiful plum and dark chocolate notes, that finish with butter, honey and burnt toffee notes. The acidity is likened to green apple, and brings together a complex, big and lasting body. The Kenyan beans are awesome in any cup of coffee you decide on. Whether it be Chemex, Plunger or a Latte, this coffee will deliver. Best for: Everything Body: Full Acidity: Balanced Roast: Medium Flavours: Maple syrup, Cocoa, citrus upfront.
