This is a beautiful example of Victorian glass circa 1880s. The lower part is a pale bluey grey matte satin finish with an enamel hand painted design of dusky pink, bronze, white & gold colours. The top part is painted with a blue enamel with some delicate wispy gold swirls.
The condition is excellent, I'm always amazed at pieces of glass with this age that survive with not a chip or crack.
There are some very very light marks that can only be picked up when looking closely but I think this is in the making of the vase.
It is 17cm tall.
I am happy to combine postage and pick up is available from Katoomba 2780.
