MATERIAL: Natural untreated HESSONITE GARNET / CINNAMON GARNET  The name comes from Greek HESSON meaning INFERIOR due to the fact that Hessonite is a little softer than other types of Garnet. These amazing Hessonite Garnets were discovered recently in Alto Ligonha mountains and its popularity amongst carvers and cutters immediately sky rocketed. These gems won’t last long, get a good one while they are still in my stock.
