VTG BROADHURST Ironstone 1960s ‘CALYPSO’ Kathie Winkle x8- Cereal Bowls +Plates



8x old but beautiful ironstone pieces in excellent, clean, hardly used and undamaged condition. Well preserved for items that are over 60 years old. There is clean and sone brown crazing due to age but hardly any scratches from use.


Pattern is ‘CALYPSO’ by Katie Winkle, renowned English ceramics designer and launched in 1963. The floral pattern is done in warm earth tones, a band of individual black and white square flowers decorate the peripheral edges of each piece .

Each piece has printed markings on base , the luncheon and side plates include ‘Katie Winkle’ signature.

Nice and shiny glazed finish.


Made of ironstone by BROADHUrST, England.
