Description A MAGNIFICENT VICTORIAN-EDWARDIAN-ART DECO RING WITH A SYNTHETIC RUBY IN A GORGEOUS ENGRAVED MILLEGRAIN OPENWORK 14K WHITE GOLD SETTING. This ring has all the delicate glamour that epitomizes The Edwardian jewels. It is an absolutely magnificent ring. It features a beautiful synthetic red-purple ruby of the most gorgeous color! This is set in a stunning 14K white gold ring with extraordinary details! The ring has an openwork leaf design with millegrain edges (millegrain is tiny beading along borders and was a characteristic of the Edwardian jewels). The overall effect of the ring is absolutely mesmerizing with its so very desirable and classic Edwardian details and the magnificent stone! This estate ring comes from a superb New York City estate.   And rubies are all the rage today. Look at the photos from the recent issue of Veranda with the prices I have included.   The ring is in superb condition. The stone is 10 mm by 8 mm. The ring is 13 mm from north to south and 11 mm from east to west. The ring is hallmarked 14K. It is currently a size 6 1/2 US (N UK) and can be easily resized if desired.
